AT least seven district offices of National Capital Region-Land Transportation Office (NCR-LTO) will be affected in a major revamp following the retirement of one of the district heads of the agency on second week of February.
Leonardo Ongtangco of LTO-Quezon City District Office based in Butel Building, P. Tuazon St., Quezon City will retire on February 11, 2008 upon reaching the mandatory retirement of 65 years old.
Report said Ongtangco will be replaced by LTO-Manila East District head Carlos Perion. Perion allegedly is backed by NCR-LTO director Ricardo Tan.
Tan reportedly has already given his words to Perion to be the next LTO-QCDO chief.
Perion will reportedly be replaced by LTO-Muntinlupa District head Monina Purog, while Purog will be replaced by LTO-Public Utility Vehicle Registration Center Extension Office Monching Abrenica.
Abrenica will be replaceb by LTO-Operations Division Chief Atty. Mary Jane Leynes-Paras while Paras’ office will be given to LTO-Manila North District Office Dra. Corazon Ang and the assistant chief of MNDO will take the office as an officer-in charge.
The order of Paras to PUVRC is just a reiteration of Tan’s previous order last year to transfer to PUVRC from LTO-OD.
